The snow is gone and the cold temps are behind us. Before you go outside to turn your hose bibs or spigots back on, make sure you take a look around at your plumbing system.
Go down into the basement and check things out. Look at all the piping and check for any leaks.
Then head outside to the hose bibs, and make sure the copper hasn’t been compromised throughout the winter. Turn them on very slowly.
If you see anything that looks like a potential issue, give us a call and we’ll send a qualified plumber out to take care of it. The best thing about spring is that most plumbers aren’t as busy or rushed.
