Good service and Josh was a pleasant technician

At my request Josh replaced the battery in the outside sensor. Everything was fine on the thermostat when he left. However, a few hours later there was a message on the thermostat saying the battery in the outside sensor needs replacing. To remove the message, I clicked the option to remind me in 4 days. I reported the problem to John Sullivan this afternoon.

The technician was great, no problem at all with his knowledge and professionalism. I was told to expect the technician between 10am - 12pm and he didn’t show up until after 1pm. After multiple calls I ended having to cancel a work meeting which I planned around the time that was given to me by your company. I was disappointed that a little discount was not offered after missing my meeting and sitting in the cold for over an additional hour.

called for the fall pm on system purchased 8/2017 in early october, as told that nov 22 was the first available. i was contacted in early november that due to a staffing problem I would need to reschedule to 12/3 (8am-10am window) 10:15 I had no call and no show so I contacted mordent and was told that the tech was running a few minutes behind but should be here soon. I think when the customer is given a window for arrival that a call should be made to update the customer.

Quick Response to a leaking condensation line

The folks at Morevent got a repair tech out to the house within 2 hours of our call to them that our brand new (Oct 2018) heating unit that they installed was leaking. The tech inspected the unit and found a condensation drainage line clamp had not been properly secured and the tube had come off the outlet pipe. The tech reconnected the drain line using the existing clamp and tugged on it several times. It didn't budge. His comment was "It's secure now. But, that should never had happened. The drain pipe wasn't installed correctly" He was there less than an hour and had the problem fixed and the system put back together. My wife was impressed with his quick ability to troubleshoot the problem, diagnose it, and fix it. Kudo's to the tech! However, that brings us to the crux of the problem. Had the drain line been initially installed correctly, this problem would have never occurred. Now, we have wet carpet and padding in our basement. However, Morevent also got Service Pro out there within an hour of the technicians report to the office, and Service Pro is remediating the damage at no charge to us. Fortunately, there is no drywall or wall stud damage, just wet carpet that will dry, and padding that will either dry or be replaced. I wish this hadn't happened, and with a little more care it wouldn't have. However, I must commend Morevent for taking complete ownership of the problem and getting the problem fixed almost immediately, and for getting remediation going the same day. I think our basement will be back in business within 2-3 days. Thank you, Morevent, for being professional and not trying to give us the runaround, and for taking responsibility for the problem. There is a reason we've been doing business with them for 15 years, and this is that reason. They treat us like valued customers. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a good local HVAC servicing and installation company.
