Should I open windows in the summer?

The primary function of your air conditioner is to remove all the moisture from your home. On that first hot day when you turn the system on, it removes all the humidity out of your house. The minute we open our windows, we allow that moisture to infiltrate the home again and your system has to work even harder to get your home back to a comfortable temperature.
I’m not here to change behavior. But the most efficient way to run your air conditioner is to turn it on and leave it on for the rest of the season. You’ll find over that time span that you’ll actually conserve energy, you’ll save some money, and you’ll enjoy a more comfortable home.
If you are trying to save some money on your utility bill, make sure you have a programmable thermostat installed. By setting that temperature back two or three degrees, you’ll gain the benefit of saving some money.
The best way to save money is to actually have your system cleaned on an annual basis. Our Club Membership program is absolutely top-notch in Chester and Delaware County. Our service is not just an inspection of a bunch of components. We actually come out and clean your system; your system’s evaporator coils, condenser coils, motors and blower wheels are thoroughly cleaned. By doing that, we’re able to get the system back to factory fresh condition so that it can efficiently and effectively cool your home.
We have two different memberships. The first covers full parts and labor, which gives clients the peace of mind of not having an unexpected repair bill. Our second membership, which is a very common, still provides your annual cleaning, but it also provides discounts on future repairs. Give us a call so we can schedule your annual servicing at 1-610-257-7702.
